Pang Wing Man

Pang graduated from the Music Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Since the age of seven, she has studied Liuqin and Pipa under the mentorship of Li Ying Wai. She then studied Liuqin and Zhongruan with teacher Lui Kwan On, and she has been studying Chinese music for over 10 years. Pang has obtained Good and Excellent results in the Pipa and Zhongruan performance diploma respectively at the Central Conservatory of Music. In the 13th Zhongsin International Music Competition, Pang won the first prize in Category VII for Zhongruan. She has also participated in the Inter-school Music Festival multiple times, winning third place in senior groups for both Liuqin and Zhongruan. Currently, Pang is a Resident Musician of the Hong Kong Gaudeamus Dunhuang Ensemble (HKGDE), a community cultural Ambassador of the Hua Xia Chinese Music Association, as well as a regular member of the Hong Kong Music Lover Chinese Orchestra. Pang also serves as Liuqin Principal at the Yao Yueh Chinese Music Association and participates in other amateur Chinese orchestras. In 2018, she took part in performances on “Guoyue Dadian”, a Chinese TV programme.
